I agree! They know everything about every product they have, unlike the big box stores.
If you don't know what your doing- and even if you do- you can ask anybody in that store and they will tell you EXACTLY what tools, procedures, phone calls, and supplies you will need to obtain. My dad bought a house and when we remodeled it we allways talked over his plans with the folks at scott's and they would normally make some minor changes or introduce him to a new product that would simplify the task. Years later I bought a house and received the same service. Scott's is the BEST absolute Best customer service store in the world. The prices are reasonable- some things are actually cheaper than the big chain stores- but If you live in Ward, Beebe, Austin or Cabot- you will save hundreds of dollars by not screwing up your project. They have a card collection and they only let "good" contractors advertise on the counter. Oh and they have the best cold drinks. I freaking hate getting ripped off by the coke machine- but that is impossible at scott's- it's a big fridge full of softdrinks.
